Hi all,

A little while ago I seriously started thinking of making some Houses, etc, from only the EP’s that released prior to SecuROM being added to our beloved Sims 2 game. This serious thought grew into a reality and I uninstalled all of my Sims 2 packs and did a big cleanup of my system, then re-installed only the EP’s up to and including Seasons.

I know there are many out there that refused to buy the packs after Seasons due to EA adding SecuROM as their copy protection, which also means you are limited in your downloading of shared content and custom content. I feel (and fully understand) for those who took a stand by wanting to keep their systems & privacy safe and stopped buying the rest of the packs from EA. I also think you need to be catered for too… I mean, why should you miss out on everything because you stood by your decision. 🙂

Anyway, getting to the point, I’ve already added a few Lots and will be making more over time. Each of the Pre-SecuROM Lots are tagged with the word Pre-SecuROM for easy searching… so just click on that tag when you find one and it will lead you to all of them, which as of this post, there are 11 of them (some being older ones I’d previously made), with more coming.

Some other good news is, I now have my good laptop back which has all the EP’s as well as M&G, so now that I have both systems to use I’ll be able to do a mixture of them, all EPs and only Pre-SecuROM EPs.

Recently I’ve been very busy with my work on Reclaim Your Game (RYG), mainly with our client, which doesn’t leave me with much gaming/building time, but I will do my best to find time to make and add at least one Lot a week for you to view/download. If I get extra time, I’ll try to add 2 or more, but that’s unlikely at this time and maybe for another 6 months or so.
